Terms and Conditions

The following terms & conditions are set out to be clear and, above all, fair. We believe it is critical to operate in an open and friendly manner to our customers. By the use of our service, you agree to abide by our terms and conditions.

PRICES
The price you see is the price you pay. There are NO hidden extras.

All prices include VAT at the current rate, and also include postage and packing costs for UK customers.

We do not offer any VAT refunds or concessions for people outside of the EU or UK. We offer a single all inclusive price for our products to all customers irrespective of location.

PRODUCTS
The Little Things In Life has made every effort to display the products as accurately as possible. All products have detailed descriptions, sizes and colours specified where applicable. Due to the differences between the many different computer screens we cannot guarantee that the colour represented on your screen is 100% accurate.

Products are subject to availability. We will not be liable for compensation or damages, if we do not supply goods.

PAYMENTS
The Little Things In Life accepts most credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Switch and Delta. We are sorry but we do not accept American Express.

We operate a secure on-line processing system provided by SagePay using their secure servers: This is safe and your details are handled efficiently and securely through our website. All payments are handled in sterling. If purchasing from outside the UK , your credit card company will convert the transaction to your local currency.

The Little Things in Life reserves the right to decline orders that do not pass the Address Verification System. This is not only a protection for us, but also for you in case of stolen or misused cards.

We know of no case of credit card fraud using our shopping website. When you place your order all your personal information including card number, name and address is encrypted. This encryption process scrambles all the information into code, which is then transmitted safely over the Internet. No one sees your credit card number, not even us.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING
For UK customers, all prices include postage and packing costs. All items will be dispatched by Tracked 48 service. There are no extra charges other than if you require shipping abroad or Express delivery.

If you are buying for shipment to Europe a charge will be made to cover the additional cost for international postage.

DELIVERY

ALL orders are dispatched within 1 working day of order placement. UK standard deliveries are free of charge.

In the UK, items of lower value are sent by first class mail, higher value items are sent by the Royal Mail Tracked service, which should arrive within 1 to 4 working days after dispatch date. Please note this is not a guaranteed service. Please ensure that you specify a delivery address where someone will be available to accept deliveries. In some cases a signature will be required.

If you need an item delivered urgently within the UK then we do offer an Express service which costs £5. Your order would be dispatched within 1 working day of order for delivery the next working day by Royal Mail Special Delivery Service. This service requires a signature to accept the delivery.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

We do ship to certain international destinations in Europe and around the world. Postage for international orders is calculated by weight . Postage costs can be checked by adding items to your basket and selecting Europe P&P or ROW P&P on the basket page. The delivery cost will be calculated and shown for the items in the basket.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

We do not offer any product that we do not stock. We operate an automated system whereby as soon as a customer orders the last of a stocked item, the product is withdrawn from sale until it is re-stocked. In the unfortunate situation where orders are taken simultaneously which results in no stock, we will supply the first order received first and offer the second or subsequent customers the right to cancel or await replenished stocks.

RETURNS POLICY

The Little Things In Life endeavours to supply the highest quality goods and service and operates a simple returns policy.

Customers need to inform us within 14 days of receipt if they wish to make a return or if there is a problem with the order.

You must notify by email to sales@thelittlethingsinlife.co.uk with details of your order number and item(s) you wish to return BEFORE returning anything back to us. We will then issue a returns authorisation which will need to be included with the returned items. 

Items must be returned back to us with the returns authorisation form.  Please note we do not refund return postage costs, unless the item is faulty.  Items returned WITHOUT proper authorisation may be refused. A full refund will be made upon receipt of the returned goods and within 14 days of receipt.

Items notified for return outside of the 14 day period will not be accepted back unless previously agreed with us in writing.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Earrings, whether sold separately or in necklace sets are supplied in sealed bags; if the seal is broken, the item is NON returnable for hygiene reasons. Each sealed bag is identified with a warning label.

Please note that gift wrapping service charges and any special delivery service charges are not refundable.

If an item is found to be faulty, then customers must notify us by email to sales@thelittlethingsinlife.co.uk with details of your order number and the faulty item you wish to return BEFORE returning anything back to us. We will then issue a returns authorisation which will need to be included with the returned items. Upon verification of the faulty item, we will then offer an exchange or a refund, and refund return postage costs.

The Little Things In Life is a trading website of the company Euphyllia. Please Note: Your payment will be shown as 'The Little Things in Life' on your credit/debit card statement.
